Olympic ‘Tower of Memory’ or Babel Revisited?

SOMETIMES television inspires; sometimes it disgusts; sometimes it teaches. Last night’s NBC airing of the Chinese Olympics’ Closing Ceremonies managed to do all the above plus more: it programmed and revealed.
If you missed it, I’m betting YouTube will soon have it. Possibly, NBC will run highlights, hoping for continued advertising revenues. But if you were there last night, comfy on your couch, then you may have had the same reaction Derek and I had at the ‘in-your-face’ symbolism called ‘The Memory Tower’.
As with the imagery in Greece back in 2004, China’s pageantry captivated the imagination, and implanted pagan ideas. Greece showed us Mercury bringing fire to humanity, ironically repeated in August on the very night of China’s opening ceremony (08-08-08 — the triple ‘888′ is Christ’s number — read ‘AntiChrist’ or ‘False Christ’ here) when Russia and Georgia opened fire in the Caucasus, the very region where Prometheus (Mercury) delivered his fiery gift.

TWO EVENTS took place the weekend of August 16-17, 2008 that Christians should mark well. They herald nothing less than the march of American evangelicals down a road that culminates in the ascendancy of the Antichrist.
The first was the nationally televised “Saddleback Civil Forum”, hosted by Rick Warren. The second big event saw an estimated 50,000 people converge on Washington, D.C., for “TheCall”, twelve hours of fasting and praying for God’s forgiveness on a nation that’s turned away from His holiness.
Like Warren’s PEACE plan, it sounds noble. But look beneath the surface.
Their actions are not scriptural, and they’re laying the groundwork for a political leader who says he shares their goals to win the hearts, minds, and souls of millions of people who claim to be Christians.

IF YOU’RE NOT familiar with David Flynn, then you must have spent the last five years living underneath a rock, or else you’re brand new to the internet. Either way, Flynn’s work has become standard reading for anyone attempting to reconcile Bible prophecy with UFOs and the ‘Face on Mars’. His ground-breaking book, Cydonia: The Secret Chronicles of Mars sold out long ago (if you’re lucky, you might find a used copy online). And I have no doubt that this one will follow suit (hint: order your copy today).
Derek and I are blessed to have one of the rare copies of Cydonia, and I’ve read it through, cover to cover a dozen times over.
